Thursday, February 5, 2015

2014 marked HCI’s 20th year of performing life saving heart surgeries on children in underdeveloped countries. With the support 120 medical professionals from across the country (and Mexico), the HCI team closed out the year having impacted the lives of over 100 children, performing 34 surgeries and screening over 100 patients. In addition, HCI reconnected with Claudia Tujab, one of HCI’s first patients. Today, Claudia is a beautiful 26 year old woman with a bright future. For highlights from 2014, and a tribute to the last 20 years, please see the video below. HCI is looking forward to the next two decades of saving lives!
