Margaret Feldmeth was appointed Executive Director of Heart Care International effective September 1, 2017. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. Her professional work experience includes social services and trauma counseling in hospital emergency rooms, and mission trip work in Mexico, Guatemala, and under-served areas in the United States. Margaret received both degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.

Betsy is Heart Care International’s Logistics Director. A native Spanish speaker, Betsy serves as the Captain of HCI’s pediatric Intensive Care Unit team and has travelled on almost every HCI mission trip since its inception in 1994.

In addition, she has developed, overseen and teaches Heart Care International’s pediatric cardiac ICU nurse training sessions – both in-country and via tele-conference.

Tanya Barrera was appointed bookkeper of Health Care International in October 2017. Tanya has extensive experience in non-profit accounting. As a financial professional she is committed to providing vital information in order to keep control of finances. Tanya is a member of AIPB and is a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She earned her bachelors degree at the University of Connecticut and has 15 years in the field. Previously a board member of the Greater Stamford Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she stays actively involved in the community. in the field.
