HCI’s team of 43 medical professionals from around the country changed the lives of 19 Peruvian children, and their families, in HCI’s 5th year servicing this under-served population. The mission attracted media attention during the pre-screen and surgical week as word spread about the unique partnership between HCI and the hospital administrators/medical team at the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Nino San Borja.
